Giulio Mastrototaro

Giulio Mastrototaro, Italian baritone born in Riva del Garda, is acclaimed for his wide-ranging operatic repertoire and expressive performances. Winner of the As.Li.Co. competition (Belcore in L’Elisir d’Amore) and “Best Performer” at the Martina Franca Festival (Pietro il Grande), he has sung major roles across Europe.

Highlights include Il turco in Italia, Il barbiere di Siviglia, L’elisir d’amore, L’Italiana in Algeri, La Cenerentola and Tosca in leading venues such as Teatro alla Scala, Salzburg Festival, Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Opéra national de Paris, Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, New National Theatre Tokyo and Arena di Verona.
