Born in Barga in 2000, Greta Doveri graduated from Liceo Musicale A. Passaglia in Lucca. Subsequently, she was admitted to the three-year academic course at the L. Boccherini Conservatory at the age of 17 and received the Pierluigi Guidi scholarship in the same year. Over the years, she specialised with maestros such as Leone Magiera and Luciana D'Intino.

Winner of numerous national and international competitions including: the 72nd AsLiCo and Audience Award, Concorso Lirico Voci In. canto 2018, Concorso Lirico Nicolaj Ghiaurov 2018 and Best Young Person Award, 2nd prize at Concorso Lirico Opera Pienza 2018 and Canadian Opera Company Prize, Essen Theater Prize, Teatro Carlo Felice Prize, Best Emerging Female Voice Prize Concorso Lirico Spiros Argiris 2019, Finalist Concorso Lirico Internazionale di Portofino 2020, Concorso Lirico G.Fregosi 2020 and Premio Teatro Verdi di Trieste.

From 2019 to 2021 she perfected her studies at the Accademia del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino under the guidance of Gianni Tangucci. During this period she debuted in the roles of Mimì and Musetta in Ciak!Bohème, a reduction of G. Puccini's La Bohème at the Teatro Goldoni in Florence, a Maggio Musicale Fiorentino production in collaboration with Venti Lucenti. In the same year, he performed in concert on the occasion of Katia Ricciarelli's 50th career anniversary.

From 2021 to 2024 she is an artist at the Accademia di Perfezionamento del Teatro alla Scala, selected as the only Italian soprano and youngest member. She regularly participates in concerts, opera productions and international tours (Greece, Argentina, Georgia).

Among her main engagements at La Scala: Clorinda in La Cenerentola per i bambini (2022), Carolina in Il matrimonio segreto by D. Cimarosa (2022, broadcast on Sky Classica HD), Stella in Les contes d'Hoffmann (2023), Berta in Il barbiere di Siviglia (2023), the première confidante in Médée by L. Cherubini (2024) and Anaide in Il cappello di paglia di Firenze (2024)

She also covers for Marina Rebeka in the roles of Mimì (La Bohème, directed by Franco Zeffirelli) and Mathilde (Rossini's Guillaume Tell).
Outside the La Scala context, in 2021 she played Musetta in La Bohème at the Theatres of Como, Marche and Savona, directed by Renata Scotto, a production reviewed by L'Opera International Magazine. In 2022 she is Chiara in G. Donizetti's opera Chiara e Serafina at the Donizetti Opera Festival; the DVD of the production is published in 2024 by Dynamic. She also performs at the Cappella Paolina del Quirinale in memory of Luciano Berio, at the Italian Embassy in Romania for the inauguration of the US Ambassador, and at the Ravenna Opera Festival under the baton of Donato Renzetti.

From 2022 to 2024 she is supported by the Hildegard Zadek Foundation with a scholarship.
On 15 October 2023, she graduated from the Accademia della Scala. In the same year, she received the ‘Pegaso’ prize from the Region of Tuscany as part of the La Toscana delle Donne event (Teatro Verdi, Florence), and the ‘Titta Ruffo’ scholarship awarded by the Fondazione Teatro Verdi di Pisa on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the death of the famous baritone.

She has collaborated with important personalities of the lyrical and theatrical scene, including Ottavio Dantone, Michele Pertusi, Luciana D'Intino, Michele D'Elia, Vincenzo Scalera, James Vaughan, Evelino Pidò, Irina Brook, Marco Gandini, Davide Livermore, Barbara Frittoli, Pietro Spagnoli, Damiano Michieletto, Leo Muscato, Michele Gamba, Sesto Quatrini, Gianluca Falaschi, Bruno De Simone.
