Vsevolod Borzak, born in Rome in 1997, is an Italian-Russian conductor.
He has studied Singing with Toomas Kaldaru, Piano with Annie Corrado and Daniele Buccio, Composition with Claudio Perugini and Luigi Francalanza. He begins his studies in Conducting with Simone Genuini, further perfecting with Bruno Aprea, Francesco Lanzillotta, Daniele Agiman, Marco Zuccarini, Fabrizio Ventura and Konrad Von Abel.
He currently is studying Conducting at the “Conservatorio Alfredo Casella” (L’Aquila,Italy), with Marcello Bufalini, and is the assistant of Francesco Lanzillotta.
In 2018 he founded the “Orchestra Giovanile Le Metamorfosi”, a Roman ensemble with which he has achieved great success in the regions of Lazio and Tuscany. Since July 2018 he is the Artistic Director of “Il Giardino della Musica” Chamber Music Festival, at Arezzo (Tuscany).
He furthermore holds the position of Assistant Conductor of the “Ensemble
Cameristico del Campus Biomedico”, and is Musical Director of the “Minima Vocalia” Ensemble. He has conducted various orchestras, among others: Orchestra Sinfonica Abruzzese, I Musici di Parma, Orchestra da Camera del Giovanni Paisiello Festival, Romae Philharmonia Orchestra, Camerata Classica, Orchestra Giovanile LeMetamorfosi, Ensemble Cameristico Campus Biomedico, FAO Youth Orchestra, Orchestra del Conservatorio “O.Vecchi – A.Tonelli” (Modena).
In September 2019, at the age of 22, his operatic debut takes place at the “Giovanni Paisiello Festival”, with La Finta Amante, an opera buffa of G. Paisiello, in its absolute first representation in modern times.
In the next months he will conduct various symphonic concerts with Orchestra Sinfonica Abruzzese and Romae Philharmonia Orchestra; he will also participate as Assistant Conductor in Opera productions, at the Macerata Opera Festival (Tosca, Don Giovanni, Trovatore) and at the Theatre de la Monnaie, Bruxelles (Donizetti-Tudor Trilogy).
