 Matteo Roma

Born in Treviso in 1994, Matteo Roma is finishing his studies at “G.Frescobaldi” Conservatory in Ferrara.

In 2016, after his debuts in some small roles, he waw ranked among the winners of the Viterbo competition and later on he performed as a soloist in Petite Messe Solennelle in Ferrara. Further he was Tamino in a production for the schools of Die Zauberflöte, premiered at Teatro Argentina in Rome and then performed in other Italian theatres such as San Carlo in Neaples. He participated at the Verdi Festival in  Parma as Officier in Jerusalem and then in Liege as Don Gaspar in La favorite.

Recently he was Belfiore in Il viaggio a Reims at the Teatri del Circuito Lombardo, Aronne in Il Mosè in Egitto in Pisa and Novara, performed for the Rossini Opera Festival in Paris in Petite Messe Solennelle at the Grand Amphithéâtre of Sorbonne, debuted Almaviva in Il barbiere di Siviglia in Saint-Étienne and Fenton in Falstaff in the Circuito Lirico Marchigiano, will be soon Arlecchino in I pagliacci at Teatro Carlo Felice of Genova and Belfiore in Il viaggio a Reims at the ROF Accademy in Pesaro, Don Ramiro in La Scala’s production of Cenerentola for children, Lindoro in L’italiana in Algeri in the Circuito delle Marche, Cecil in Roberto Devereux at La Fenice where he will return also for La cambiale di matrimonio as Milford, Auphide in Moïse et Pharaon in Pesaro, and as Goffredo and Carlo in Armida in Marseilles.
