Azer Zada

Born in Azerbaijan, tenor Azer Zada graduated in singing in 2010 at the Baku Conservatory, his hometown, where he was already a member of the Opera Studio and then of the Ensemble of the Opera. After moving to Italy, he attended numerous masterclasses including those with Raina Kabaivanska, Magda Olivero, Leo Nucci, Renato Bruson and Renata Scotto, he was part of the Accademia d’Arte Lirica di Osimo and performed in a series of concerts in Italy, France, Austria, Slovakia, Russia, England, United Arab Emirates and Turkey.

In 2014 he was admitted at La Scala Academy and had the opportunity to perform on the Scala stage as Prince of Persia in Turandot with Chailly, Borsa in Rigoletto with Luisotti, Fante in I due Foscari with Mariotti and Araldo in Don Carlo with Chung.

Among his recent and future engagements, Macduff in Macbeth at Teatro Verdi di Salerno with Oren, Requiem of Verdi with l’Orchestra Verdi di Milano conducted by Bignamini and at Festival de La Chaise-Dieu, Don Josè in Carmen in Novara, Messina, Cagliari and Trapani, Rodolfo in La bohème in the Circuito Marchigiano and at La Fenice with Chung, Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly again in Venezia,  Cavaradossi in Tosca at the Festival de Sanxay and in Trapani, Alfredo in La Traviata at Petruzzelli in Bari and for his debut at Bolshoi, extracts of  Aida with I Cameristi della Scala at the Triennale di Milano, Tosca at La Fenice and Bolshoi, la Bohème in Piacenza, Carmen in Venice and in Parma and Aida in Seoul.
