Francesco Milanese

Born in Conegliano in 1980 he begins his studies at the Conservatory J. Tomadini in Udine and at the A. Steffani Conservatory in Castelfranco Veneto participating in productions of Monteverdi’s Orfeo, Donizetti’s Betly and Verdi’s La Traviata.

Later on he studies singing with Elizabeth Tandura and scenic art with Lamberto Puggelli and specializes with Roberto Scandiuzzi and at the Accademia in Modena with Mirella Freni.

His professional career begins with a Pocket Opera production of Nabucco staged by AsLiCo Teatro Sociale di Como.

Among recent engagements: Rossini’s Il barbiere di Siviglia at Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari for the young audience; Commissario Imperiale of Madama Butterfly at Teatro Verdi in Padova and La Traviata at Teatro La Fenice at the opening season 2014/2015.

His recent and future engagements include Macbeth at Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari, Un ballo in maschera in tournèe with AsLiCo, Le nozze di Figaro in Parma, La Traviata, Acquagranda and La Bohème at La Fenice, Tosca at Opera Theatre in Rome, Madama Butterfly in Venice, the debut in Ferrando in Il Trovatore in Reggio Emilia and in Modena, Colline in La bohème, Richard II, Traviata and Semiramide at La Fenice, il Re in Aida at Circuito Lirico Lombardo, Otello at Maggio Musicale Fiorentino.
