Alessio Arduini

Alessio Arduini was born in Desenzano del Garda in 1987. He approaches opera singing at the age of 15 improving his technique and repertoire for several years, completing in the meanwhile a specialist degree course in Management Engineering.

In 2010 Mr. Arduini receives a grant from the Lina Aimaro Bertasi Foundation and also debuts in Mozart’s Don Giovanni title role staged by the Como Teatro Sociale on the Pocket Opera regional circuit.

During the following season, he returns to the Pocket Opera circuit in Le nozze di Figaro (Conte d’Almaviva) playing among the others: Mozart’s Don Giovanni at Teatro Comunale in Bologna, I Puritani (Riccardo) at Teatro Ponchielli in Cremona,  Mozart’s Così fan tutte (Guglielmo) at Teatro Regio in Turin and Teatro La Fenice in Venice, La Bohème (Schaunard) at Teatro La Fenice, at the Salzburger Festspiele and at Wiener Staatsoper, then again Don Giovanni at Teatro Petruzzelli and at Wiener Staatsoper (Masetto).

Recent performances are: Così fan tutte (Guglielmo) and Don Giovanni at Teatro La Fenice in Venice, La Bohème (Schaunard) at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden and Un ballo in maschera (Silvano) at Teatro alla Scala.

The engagements of the 2013 season, among others: Così fan tutte (Guglielmo) at the Bayerische Staatsoper and L’elisir d’amore (Belcore) at Wiener Staatsoper in Wien, in 2014 at Teatro La Fenice in Venice, Don Giovanni and at Wiener Staatsoper, L’elisir d’amore (Belcore), La Cenerentola (Dandini) and La Bohème (Marcello) at the Salzburger Festspiele as Masetto in Mozart’s Don Giovanni. Late in the autumn 2014 he debuts in the USA as Schaunard in Puccini’s La Bohème at the Metropolitan Opera House in New York.

2015-2016 season includes his return to the Salzburger Festspiele for Pagliacci (Silvio) conducted by Christian Thielemann, Rossini’s Il barbiere di Siviglia (Figaro) at Wiener Staatsoper and at Opera National de Paris, Don Pasquale (Malatesta) in a new production at Wiener Staasoper, Mozart’s Così fan tutte (Guglielmo) at first at the Salzburger Festspiele  and later on at the Royal Opera House Covent Gardne in London, La Cenerentola, La Bohème in Wien, Don Giovanni and Così fan tutte again at the Salzburger Festspiele. Among others engagements his debut in U.S.A with La Bohème (Schaunard) at Met in New York, Don Pasquale, L’elisir d’amore and La Cenerentola in Wien, Die Zauberflöte in Florence, La Cenerentola in Paris, La Bohème in Paris, Pagliacci in New York, La Cenerentola and La Bohème in Wien, Così fan tutte in Seoul and in Naples, Die Zauberflöte in Rome, La Cenerentola and Le nozze di Figaro in Wien, Don Giovanni  and Turandot in Venice. Among his future engagements Don Giovanni in Rome, La Cenerentola in Amsterdam, La Bohème in London, Le nozze di Figaro and Così fan tutte in Wien,
