Ivan Ayon Rivas was born on February 17, 1993, (23 years old) in Piura, Perú. The Peruvian tenor Ivan Ayon studied opera under the tutelage of María Eloisa Aguirre at the il National Conservatory of Music of Peru. He improved with Juan Diego Florez, Ernesto Palacio, Vincenzo Scalera, Maurizio Colaccichi e Luigi Alva.

He is currently studying in Italy with baritone Roberto Servile.
In 2013 he won the second prize of the Peruvian National competition  for Opera Singer / Canto Lirico.

During his studies he performed in a recital at the Club Tacna Auditorium. Thanks to his performance as a soloist with the Peru National Conservatory Simphony Orchestra, he was selected for a recital at the Congresso Nazionale della Repubblica del Perú.

In 2014 he also sang in concerts at  Colegio de Santa Ursula in Lima, in Viña del Mar (Cile), at Austrian Embassy in Lima, in a concert in homage to Giuseppe Verdi at Teatro Municipal in Lima, under the conduction of Maestro Matteo Pagliari, as well as in a concert in homage to Manuel de Falla in Peru’s Gran Teatro Nazionale.

Among the finalists of the International Competition for Opera Singers Spiros Argiris in Sarzana (La Spezia), he obtained the fourth place. On that occasion he sang in the concert of the winners under the baton of Matteo Beltrami

He have his debut in the opera in October of the same year, at the Peru’s Gran Teatro Nazionale, in Lima, where he played Goro in Madama Butterfly conducted by Lorenzo Tazzieri.  He also sang in the Choir of Roméo et Juliette, with Juan Diego Florez.

In November 2014 he also debuts at BASF of  Ludwigshafen (Germania), with Orchestra Filarmonica of Teatro alla Scala in Milan, in the benefit concert of Juan Diego Florez, under the baton of Fabio Luisi.

In August of 2015 he sang in a recital for Emilia Romagna Festival in Tredozio.

In November he won the third edition of the Concorso Internazionale di Canto “Premio Etta Limiti”.

He sang the role of Gaspar in La Favorite at Teatro La Fenice in Venice and in Mercadante’s Francesca Rimini at Festival della Valle d’Itria in Martina Franca. Among his recent engagements La Bohème at Teatro Regio in Turin, La Traviata in Reggio Emilia, Modena, Como, Bergamo, Brescia, Pavia, La Bohème in Venice; among future engagements, Un giorno di regno in Martina Franca, Falstaff and I Lombardi alla prima crociata in Turin, La Traviata and La Bohème in Venice, Rigoletto in Florence, La Bohème in Rome and Palermo.
