Chiara Isotton

Soprano Chiara Isotton was born in 1985 in Belluno, where he studied at the School of Music A. Miari. After brilliantly graduated from the Conservatorio Benedetto Marcello in Venice, she continued her refinement with William Matteuzzi and Roberto Scandiuzzi and in 2008 she attended courses at the Accademia Chigiana with Renato Bruson.

In June 2009 she won a scholarship at the XXXIX International Competition Toti dal Monte in Treviso and attended a masterclass of Haydn’s La vera costanza with Regina Resnik in addition to a course hold by various teachers including Maria Chiara and Roberto Scandiuzzi, with whom she also took a masterclass at the UIMP/Santader in the summer 2010.

After being classified in numerous national competitions, in March 2013 she is among the winners of the European Community of Spoleto that will enable her to perform in the summer at the Festival of Two Worlds and at the Festival of Nations in Citta di Castello and to debut in September in the role of Tosca at the Teatro Lirico Sperimentale.

In February 2015 she sings the High Priestess in Aida conducted by Zubin Mehta at Teatro alla Scala, where he later also covers the role of Alisa in Lucia di Lammermoor directed by Stefano Ranzani. In June 2015 he graduated from the Academia di perfezionamento of the Teatro alla Scala and in September she return to Spoleto debuting Mimì in La Bohème

Among his concert engagements, his appearance in the context of the Hermitage Music Festival in St. Petersburg, Rossini’s Stabat Mater at the Wiener Sängerknaben Auditorium in Vienna and some Recitals in Korea (Sejong Art Center, Daegu Opera House) along with Renato Bruson. In addition she has performed in Hong-Kong (Cultural Center), at the State Theater in New Brunswick (New Jersey), at the Teatro Grande in Brescia, in Al Ain (UAE University). To remember a concert at the New Stage of the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow conducted by Tugan Sokhiev and the execution of Mahlet IV Symphony at the Milan Conservatory and at the Carlo Felice in Genoa conducted by Fabio Luisi.

He recently took part in a concert at La Scala with Edita Gruberova under Marco Armiliato.
